I geniunely don't think anyone has ever read one of these but I guess I'm just gonna keep writing them
I haven't made a game since eldritch labyrinth because I've kind of lost motivation something happened
and coding just stopped being as enjoyable as it used to be. I still like it but It's hard to just sit there
programming away until I look up and realise hours have passed. Some days I sit down open godot and just don't
do anything but I have cooked up a little something recently it's gonna be a simple platformer called
It's probably gonna end up being a worse version of celeste but honestly I don't mind. I'm just happy
that I'm back to programming. And I've been getting better at art which is huge because I can now draw
things in more than like 8 pixels and black and white. This project is drawn using a 4 colour colour palette
called t-lollipop. I think it's a good palette and it co-operates with my brain nicely.
Here's what the game looks like so far:
As you can see its very far from being done and not everythig looks the best but a lot of that will be fixed with
time.
I've also got some sprites maade for a couple of other games I'd like to make. There is a yet to be named
mining game with very few sprites drawn in the pico-8 colour palette
There are also some 8bit sprites I've been cooking up for a farming game which I havent made any coding progress on
I've not quite finished making these sprites which are also drawn in the pico-8 colour palette. I know everything
here is quite simplistic but I'm happy with most of it and there is only so detailed I can get with the limit
size im drawining in.
